Assalaamu Alaikum Dear MCC Families,

Insha Allah you are staying healthy!  At MCC School we want to ensure that we take all appropriate steps to prevent an outbreak of any serious illnesses, seasonal flu or strep throat.  When your child must miss the school due to illness, please write to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Here are some tips for staying healthy:

1. Eat good food and get enough vitamin C
2. Drink lots of fluids
3. Exercise
4. Get good sleep
5. Wash hands frequently and use hand sanitizers
6. Cover your cough and sneeze with your elbow, NOT HAND!
7. Don't go to school or work when you are too sick.

How do you know if you or your child is too sick?

1.  Fever of more than 99 F
2. Sore throat
3. Vomiting
4. Severe cough
5. Body aches that accompany any of the above symptoms

The fever and vomiting components are the most severe as far as needing to keep your child home (and you, out of the office!).

At MCC School our policy is that your child needs to be fever-free and vomit-free (without medicines) for 72 hours before they are allowed back to school.  Please notify the school if your child is ill and will be missing class. write to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
